I have finally finished the video for "in denial"! Not a cartoon as originally planned but a very lo res video filmed on my
digital camera... The whole video was shot over one afternoon and two evenings, and edited last night.
It was so much fun to do that i'm planning to make another one, this time with a proper camera and other people in it as well!

I will be playing at the Betsey Trotwood in London on the 24th of January. I am also in the process of setting up a one week tour
in mid March so keep checking the gigs page for more details to be added soon! If you are a promoter
and want to book me on for that tour, get in touch and hopefully, i can play in your town if it's not too far out from the other cities i will be playing in!

My debut album "Fire in my head" is finally mixed and mastered! It was sent to the CD pressing plant earlier today, for a release in mid November!

I am also working on videos for the songs "Stuck" and "In denial". More info soon... hopefully!

Also, german indie label Retinascan has just released a very cute 3" CD of songs i recorded in 2004. The CD is called "Indigo Sessions" and features 7 songs. You can order it from the label from their website, it costs 6 Euros (+ 2 Euros for postage). The songs include mastered versions of "my tongue is ill", "simple test" and "alive" (unmastered versions available to download from the music page), as well as "insane", "a little mouse", "big mouth girl" and "she's waiting".

On 20th August, i'm going to participate to FAVE, a get-together in Bristol for creative people who are interested in free and open source software on Linux and other computer platforms. I'll be doing a workshop during the day about recording using Linux software (Hydrogen/Ardour/JaMin) and i will perform in the evening. I'm quite looking forward to it!

My new EP CD is finally ready! It's called "Oh no" and features 6 tracks. You can download all the tracks as MP3s as well as check out the artwork and lyrics.
My plan is now to record my as-yet-untitled debut album for a release date circa November. More gigs are also in the pipeline... In the meanwhile, i have 2 London dates in June (check out the gig page for details).

So i've survived my debut gig! Actually, it was fun but it was so hot on that stage! And yes, mister soundman, i will improve my mic technique. Can't get everything right the first time hehe! You can see some pictures from both my debut gig and my Resonance FM session.
On the day of my gig at the 12 bar club (sat 4th June), i will also be playing an acoustic number on "Hello Goodbye" show on Resonance FM (104.4 London), between noon and 1pm.
Another gig in June for me! This time, it's an afternoon affair, and it's a benefit gig for US political prisoner Jeff 'Free' Luers, at the Pullens Centre in Elephant & Castle.

Another London gig, on the 4th of June at the 12 bar club. It's gonna be a "hello gooodbye" (Resonance FM indie radio show) nite so make sure you come along, it should be ace! I'll post more details as i get them.
You can now preview a couple of tracks from my forthcoming EP "oh no". These are Oh no and No Revenge. These are almost the final mixes but they haven't been mastered so they sound quieter than they eventually will...

My debut EP "Burstin'" has gathered more radio airplay in March, which is very encouraging!
Work on follow-up EP "Oh No" has started; expected completion date is mid-May. The EP will feature 6 songs. You will be able to preview a couple of tracks soon!

My song "my new home" has been picked up to feature on "demo clash" for indie radio show Totally Wired. You can catch the show on air this sunday 13th March between 8 and 10pm on Juice Brighton 107.7FM and live online at www.juicebrighton.com. The "demo clash" contest will carry on for two weeks on Totally Wired website, where you will be able to download one MP3 for each band. There is a voting system via email so vote for me please!

I have been asked to provide an exclusive track for "a lonesome time Vol3" compilation CD, which will be distributed for free in indie recordshops such as Rough Trade. A couple of good news have come in.
Firstly, indie label Retinascan, from Germany, has offered to release a 3 inch CD-R of my earlier demos.
Secondly, the song "my new home", from "Burstin' EP", has been chosen to feature on the free CD that comes with new magazine Ctrl.Alt.Deplete.

It will be released as a CD-R, available from 7th Februay 2005 for the sum of £2.50 incl. postage within UK. Alternatively, you are welcome to download all the songs as 128kbps MP3s for free (all the songs will be available in a few days).
Recording for follow-up "Oh no EP" will take place in May.

First update of the year 2005...
And it starts well as i have FINISHED recording debut EP "Bursting"! It is now down to the final stage - final mixdown, track order, artwork, mastering etc... well exciting!
